You're enjoying brunch with friends and family when you feel that telltale crunch. Your front tooth just broke, and now you're in the midst of a dental emergency! What do you do next?

First, you should remain calm because your emergency dentist in Greeley has you covered. Next, gather the pieces of your tooth if you can and call Bagley Family Dental at (970) 353-5664.

We leave time in our daily schedule open to accommodate emergency patients. If your tooth emergency happens outside of our normal business hours, we have instructions over the phone on how you can contact our on-call staff member or Dr. Bagley.

Dental Emergencies 101

Tooth emergencies don't have to be stressful when you know what to do, so here are some helpful tips on handling common dental emergencies until Dr. Bagley can see you.

  • Broken or chipped teeth — Contact our office to determine if you need immediate attention. A broken tooth may need repair right away if it's causing pain or sensitivity, but a chipped tooth may be able to wait for a future appointment.
  • Lost or broken restorations — If you lose a crown or filling, you may require immediate attention to avoid further damage or discomfort. If you can, gather the restoration and contact our dental office right away.
  • Cracked or fractured dentures — If you break or damage your denture, contact us right away so we can coordinate repair with our trusted local lab.
  • Toothaches and dental pain — Don't wait to contact your emergency dentist if you have a toothache. It likely indicates a tooth infection, which will not resolve on its own.
  • Knocked-out teeth — If your tooth is dislodged or knocked out, it needs treatment immediately. Try to place it back into its socket. If you can't, use milk or saliva to transport it.

Bagley Family Dental is the Greeley emergency dentist you can trust! Don't hesitate to contact us during a tooth emergency.
