First Visit Expectations
If you’re like most of our patients, you would like to know what to epect before arriving at your first dental visit. Here, you will find a summary of what to expect during your first visit to Bagley Family Dental. We look forward to seeing you!
Let’s get to know each other
Your first visit to our office will focus on us getting to know each other. While we obviously want to get to know you, it’s probably even more important that you get to know us so that you’re comfortable in our office. In the time we spend together, we welcome you expressing any concerns that you might have, asking questions, and sharing anything with us that you want us to know in order to help make your care customized to your needs. You are an individual with individual needs and we want to treat you like it.
Part of becoming familiar with your needs and providing personalized, safe care involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medications and medical conditions can influence your treatment protocols and treatment decisions that we make together – so we will ask that you provide a list of your medications and their dosages (including vitamins and supplements).
A complete set of x-rays and a comprehensive exam of your gums, teeth, jaw, and oral tissues will be performed. This includes a non-invasive oral cancer screening.
You’re in great hands!
If it has been awhile since you have been to a dentist, please don’t worry. You’ve made an important decision – no need to feel guilty! At Bagley Family Dental, we won’t judge you or talk down to you about the condition of your mouth. No matter how you feel about your health or appearance, there is hope! Together, we’ll get you to where you’d like to be.
Once we complete your exam, Dr. Bagley will discuss his findings with you. Together, you and Dr. Bagley can create a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal wants and needs. Our office can prioritize and stagger your treatments to give you a smile you deserve - in a time-frame that works for you.
Finally, we want you to know we will go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and safe! Not only is your physical comfort of extreme importance to us, but your emotional comfort is important to us as well. So, come in, recline and unwind – you’re in great hands!
