Technology

With your comfort in mind, Dr. Andrew Bagley has equipped our Greeley dental office with much of the latest technology that dentistry has to offer. With advanced equipment, we can provide many procedures that are more comfortable and streamlined for you.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

If you have ever had fear or anxiety keep you from visiting the dentist, we encourage you to discuss using nitrous oxide for your dental procedures with Dr. Bagley. This breathable gas is delivered comfortably through an inhalation mask that you'll wear during your procedure, which will help you feel relaxed and at ease throughout your treatment.

After we finish your procedure, you'll breathe some oxygen, which will clear the nitrous oxide from your system. This process allows you to safely drive home and return to your normal activities without any lingering side effects.

Nitrous oxide can be used during most types of dental procedures and is also safe for children.

Digital X-Rays

Patients often wonder if dental x-rays are necessary and safe for them. The answer to both of those questions is - yes!

At Bagley Family Dental, we determine how often each patient needs x-rays based on their individual needs and desires.  The purpose of taking regular x-rays is to allow Dr. Bagley to detect any concerns that might be happening internally that aren't visible during a clinical examination. Early detection of dental issues like tooth decay or gum disease allows you to be proactive about treating your condition as soon as possible. This may allow you to choose procedures that are less costly and not as invasive.

At our dental clinic, we use digital x-rays, which emit less radiation than standard films taken in the past. This means that you receive more radiation from spending a day in the Colorado sun than you do from your dental x-rays. They are also immediately available for Dr. Bagley to view and discuss with you so you can make timely decisions about your dental health.

Digital x-rays are also much less harmful to our environment since there are no harsh chemicals required for their development.

Digital Records

At Bagley Family Dental, we utilize digital patient records. Our use of computerized patient charts allows us to access the information that we need to care for your dental health in an easier and quicker manner. Our encrypted system also allows us to protect your private information. We are constantly updating our system to make sure that it exceeds all HIPAA requirements so that your dental health information is safe.

The Intraoral Camera

They say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." This is also true for your dental health! When you can see the decay that Dr. Bagley sees in your tooth, it's easy to understand why you need a dental filling or crown.

Our pen-sized camera fits easily inside your mouth and allows us to take full-color pictures of your teeth and soft tissues. This, in turn, empowers you to make educated decisions about the treatment procedures that are best for your needs.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic x-rays provide us with a full view of your teeth, jawbone, and jaw joints all in one picture. We only update this x-ray every three to five years, unless you are considering orthodontic treatment, restoring a lost tooth with a dental implant, or if there are pathology concerns.

Rotary Endodontics

Who would've guessed that root canal treatment could become even more comfortable? This procedure already relieves the discomfort and disease caused by a tooth infection. Now we can do the treatment even quicker with electric rotary hand tools.

These tools are also made of flexible nickel-titanium, which is more comfortable for our patients during the process because the tools can more easily reach inside the canals of your tooth.

At Bagley Family Dental, root canal treatment is quick and painless.  It is not uncommon for patients to look at us at the completion of root canal treatment and ask, “that was it?”
